Now, during these exceptional times, we have put into place new measures to support both our customers and staff during the Corona Virus outbreak and we are committed to working with our staff and customers to ensure we operate in the safest manner possible.

Our policy is compliant with all government and NHS recommendations regarding the reduction of risk of infection or transmission between staff or customers.

As part of our commitment to keeping staff and customers safe during the Corona virus outbreak, Clive Dodson Thatchers Limited are committed to working with our staff, customers and suppliers to ensure we operate in the safest manner possible during the outbreak.

We have introduced additional measures of health and safety with our staff to minimise the risk of infection.

During their time working on your property, our staff aim to limit contact as much as possible in the following ways:.

Communication, deliveries and collections can be made from a designated point on site as opposed to in person.

All equipment is washed and sanitised in between uses.

We ask that our customers work with us to help minimise the risk of spread of the virus. If you or any other member of the property are currently feeling unwell and have a booking with us, please let us know and we can arrange alternative dates.

Our staff and customer safety are paramount

All our staff working are currently confirmed asymptomatic for Corona virus and are not living with any household members exhibiting symptoms.

Symptoms

Any staff who exhibit symptoms will be instructed to follow the government advice regarding self-isolation

Our teams will be split into separate work groups and travel only in these groups, they will only meet when necessary and keep 2 metres apart to reduce the risk.

Washing hands thoroughly and more often

Ensure that every day they have fully clean clothes on and must not leave any clothing behind on site or in the work vehicles. Keep all areas extra sanitised and make sure they are extra clean in their work vehicles.

Protective Equipment

Wherever possible, wear disposable gloves and cloths for cleaning.

Wear face masks when travelling in the vehicles together, keeping windows open for ventilation at all times.

Pay attention to frequently touched areas and surfaces, such as ladders, scaffold poles and work tools.
